KALEMLİK NURSERY

         We, namely Kalemlik Nursery School; are the first sapling of Kalem.

 

When the seeds of Kalem has begun to grow green, Kalem started not to  satisfy our needs. After having seen that many other saplings are ready to grow ,we begun to look for  new places. Then we selected this location on the top of Çamlıca.

 

Kalem having made up the philosophy of  “ There is no saving in education”  a principle , it has made the same for Kalemlik, and prepared a place with dining room, play room, playground, ball ground, four floors each of which decorated for our children to live at ease and a swimming pool which makes even the adults say that “I wish I could be a child”.

 

In addition to a hygienic, safe, and warm atmosphere ; a really good education, psychological observation and special ability lessons of different branches  are tought in our school.

 

            To strengthen our children’s self-confidance ,to make them comfortable in their relationship with their friends,who knows to share, shortly; to make them social in every field is among our first targets. It is necessary to accept that this is more important than the education we wiil give our children. Becouse, we know that there will a long road for them to take education. By providing them stronger steps in this road, we want to send them of as being the ones who go to our past with our roots, who reach the necessities of our day’s thecnology ; who makes up strong basisi by being productive, decisive, queestioning, examining, planning, and practicing people.

 

Atatürk says that “Today’s child is tomorrow’s adult” and we believe that we will grow our children who are our future and tomorrow’s adults for the help of humanbeing with your support

             We are at the Çamlıca Hill ,It’s such place that poems were written  and songs were composed and sung for it.Private Çamlıca Kalem is among pines,it sair and water is very clean,and you can enjoy the silence and stay away from the noise in this place

We are working so hard with souls full of love ,freindship and understanding just to prepare the future’s rising suns and shining stars

             Osman Sezgin ,Our education consultant is an assistant professor at Marmare University,has helped us to go faster and to  reach the bright future with great knowledge and experience since 2000,

             Depending on the reality”When you believe that there is no obstacle to be overcome,even the highest mountain become  plain for us” ,we have already started to harvest the the fruits of our hard working with great happiness

             Being  a student , a teacher or a manager in Kalem,means very puncual.so we always act before the event and can keep the pace of the time.

             We used to break the classical concept of working between 8 and 4 o’clock,so all our staff are always available in the school to hug the children with love  and affection

              İn each class we are trying to place one down syndromed,spastic,autistic or one  hyperactive children,to teach the children patience and tohow to show affection and love toward those children

              As Kalem counselling department  we believe that there is no guilty people because the law deasl with them,there is no sick people ,because doctors deal with them,but there is only  people who have preblem with whome our guidance  and counselling department support all our children parents and teachers ,w elet our students to undertake lots of tests  before deciding  which program is suıitable for them

             We think that the student –teacher –parents triangle is vert imporatnt ,so we are arranging monthly meeting for the parents and in these seminars our edcaution consultant tries to make the parents aware of the children psycholgy and thier problems

             We aim to grow up children who are aware of the  thier Ntionals and  cultural values and new offspring who can walk in the light of the past and who can walk to the future which they will plan

Taking care of old people project

 

Anew project has been started in our school ‘’ Taking care of old people  project’’

 

Our '' Visit  to a Retirement House and taking care of old people''  has started ,our  6th and 7th grade students are participating in this Project jointly with public relations

Our students  are reading ,talking and planting tress together with old people

At the end of the this Project our students realize lots of things,for example the importance of the time,the beauty of the youth,and how hard is the life and how hard is to be alone and lots of another things
